Shiocton Fire Department

Shiocton-Bovina Fire Department is a volunteer department that covers the Village of Shiocton, Town of Bovina and parts of the

Town of Maine and Town of Liberty.

Our department currently has about 40 members. We are always looking for new members to volunteer. The schooling is paid for and it is a great way to be involved in your community.  You can be a firefighter or an EMT or both! Our apparatus consists of: two engines, one tender, an equipment truck, two brush trucks and a UTV.

Between fire and EMS our department covers an average of 200-225 calls a year. We have mutual aid agreements with the surrounding municipalities.

Our members have fundraisers every year to help purchase equipment that the municipal budgets could not cover.  Our communities are a huge support for the success of those events!
